  • I use the term healing and balancing interchangeably, but they are the same thing. Sound healing/sound balancing uses instruments and vibration to activate the body’s parasympathetic nervous system — the part that helps us rest, restore, and heal. This natural shift slows the breath, calms the heart rate, and settles the mind. It also works with the electromagnetic field by utilizing tuning forks to navigate and identify pockets of resistance where blocked energy might be held. By introducing a coherent tone to the field, the body’s own healing system is activated to naturally bring balance back to the system.

    The benefits can be wide-ranging, and vary, including:

    • Reducing stress and anxiety

    • Supporting better sleep

    • Lowering blood pressure

    • Easing physical pain

    • Supporting emotional balance and connection

    Everyone experiences sound healing in their own way. Many describe it as feeling “reset” more relaxed, centered, and connected.

  • A sound bath is where we gather as a group to enjoy sound healing. We begin with a meditation which leads into sound immersion. Afterwards we ground back in and some choose to chat with others about their experience.

  • Reiki is a form of energy healing and is one methodology, but not the only. Energy healing works on the premise that there is a life force energy, ether, all around us that can be accessed by utilizing intention and focus. By accessing this field, and your own, the practitioner can help energy move through areas where it may be stuck or stagnant.

    Research on energy healing (biofield therapies) is growing but remains in its infancy. That being said, over 140 studies of reiki have been completed and have shown positive results in helping with pain, anxiety, and depression.

  • During a session I am utilizing different sound instruments, focusing on tuning forks, to work around what is called your biofield. You can think of your biofield as the energetic imprint that surrounds your body and reflects your experiences, emotions, etc. The sounds help to move stagnant or static energy and helps to activate the body’s healing system. The sound works on multiple levels, helping the body to relax and rest, and the mind to quiet down. Every session is a bit different depending on your needs. Energy healing will be worked into the session accordingly.

    These sessions you will be lying down on a table, most people experience deep relaxation within these sessions but everyone’s experience is slightly different. Energy healing can be done with a gentle hands on approach, or hands off whichever you prefer.

  • Everyone experiences energy and sound healing a little differently. For some, the effects are immediate; for others, they unfold gradually. Many people describe it as their brain receiving a “massage” or “cleaning”.

    Detox sensations are common such as: light flu like symptoms, fatigue or tiredness, emotional fluctuations, etc. These are temporary and shouldn’t last more than a few days.

    These practices can ease tension in the physical body, support emotional release, and open space for spiritual connection. You may find patterns in your life shifting after a session such as: feeling stronger, feeling calmer, lessening pain, better sleep, deeper connection and overall well being.

    Just like working out different muscle groups at the gym, this type of healing can bring a range of sensations.

    Sometimes you may feel lighter right away, while other times you might notice emotional or physical shifts in the days following.

    The goal is to bring balance back to the system, whatever that means for you, and by using frequencies we are able to work with the out-of-tune charges directly and usually effectively. Due to us interacting with this, it is common to notice changes after even just one session.

  • Sound healing affects each person differently, and research has shown many positive benefits for the mind and body. However, as with any practice, there are some medical conditions to be mindful of. Due to the detox and healing reaction the body often goes through after a session, sound healing might not be right for you at this time. This information is based on anecdotal experience and not research, due to this it is important to loop in your health care professionals and limit the use of this method until you know how your body reacts. That being said, it is possible to slightly changed the methods used to focus on relaxation depending on your circumstance to better fit your needs.

    Conditions To Be Cautious Of:
    -Active Cancer

    -End of life

    -Active Intense Illness

    -Pregnancy

    -Electrical Implants such as a Pacemaker

    -New Concussions *need to be at least 3 months post concussion to receive this modality

    -Seizure Disorders

  • Lucky for us, with the introduction of biofield therapy studies, more and more scientists are on board with studying CAM practices (complimentary alternative medicine)…and yes there are studies showing these modalities are beneficial!   • I am located in KCMO, near 39th and State line road. All sessions are by appointment only. When you arrive for your appointment, call me and I will come let you in!

  • Appointments can be canceled or rescheduled 24 hours before and you will receive a refund. If I am not notified 24 hours before your appointment you may not be eligible for a refund. You can do this by going to your confirmation email you received when you booked the appointment.

    If you are running late, you may still come to your appointment, but I may or may not be able to adjust for the time lost and we will end at the time appointed.

    Events start on time and late arrivals can not be let in as it will disrupt the experience of the class.

    For virtual appointments, there are specific guidelines for running late provided in description of what you booked.

  • All services with the exception of the “Energy Healing & Assessment” are open to minors with certain requirements being met by the legal guardian. If you are a minor wanting to partake in a service(s), or you are wanting to bring a minor to an event with you, please review the requirements below and reach out if necessary:

    Minors wanting to receive a 1:1 service with me will need a legal guardian present with them upon their first appointment to check them in and fill out paperwork agreements and release forms for the minor. Also, I want you to meet me and ask any questions you have about your child’s service, I want you and your child to feel comfortable and safe!

    Minors wanting to attend a sound bath need to have a legal guardian present to sign the paperwork.

  • I have both session types available depending on what service you are looking for.

  • For any service you sign up for there are different forms you may need to fill out that you will be notified of. Everyone is required to fill out a liability waiver during your first service or event with me. I recommend drinking lots of water before your session. Other than that you do not need to prepare anything!

    For what to wear, I suggest something you will be comfortable lying down in, but it does not have to be yoga clothing or anything specific.

  • Payment is due before the time of services.

    If you selected the "pay later" option, to pay you will need to find the confirmation email associated with that appointment. Then select "change/cancel" and then select the "payment" button.
